What you send
Every item here is something your business already receives.
- Electricity, gas and fuel bills. Up to 5 years if you have them.
- Waste and freight invoices.
- A spend export from QuickBooks or Xero.
- Any certifications you hold.
Photographs of paper bills are fine. Nothing needs retyping, and nothing needs to be complete on the first pass.

- A baseline year — the first full year everything after it is measured against.
- Your footprint across the four things a company can actually move: energy, sourcing, transport, and waste and packaging.
- Charts that carry across years, so next year’s report shows the direction rather than starting again.
- Both Scope 2 figures — Scope 2 is the electricity you buy: the grid average where you are, and what you actually contracted for.
- The workings, so anyone can check where a number came from.

Why anyone asks for this
Usually a customer sent a form. Sometimes a distributor, a bank, or a certification renewal.
Underneath all of them: the nine planetary boundaries, the limits set for what the planet can absorb. Seven are past the line.
The report opens on those nine, then shows one company’s share of them. That order is deliberate.
What this is not
It is not an audit. Nobody visits, and no figure is verified by a third party.
It is not a certification, and YKO does not issue one.
You own the report and decide who sees it. YKO hosts it for as long as you want it hosted.
Where a figure is an estimate, it says so next to the figure.
